The 2016 Nissan Versa

Nissan Versa

Have you ever found a car that you found absolutely charming? It’s definitely a unique characteristic for a car to exude. If you’ve never felt that special bond with a vehicle before, you can find it with the 2016 Nissan Versa. While the Versa offers appealing charm inside and out, it also offers many great traits that make it an excellent companion on the road. It’s comfortable and spacious, provides high fuel economy, and is low in price, which makes it a new car that can actually be labeled affordable.

Class-Leading Space

The Nissan Versa stands mighty in the subcompact sedan segment. We use the word mighty because it’s interior measurements are anything but subcompact. The backseat of the Versa is actually one of the roomiest in the subcompact segment. It fits adults of all sizes, including those over six feet – an amazing feat for such a small car. Open the Versa’s trunk and you’ll be truly impressed with the 14.8 cubic feet of cargo space it provides; trunk space can also be expanded when rear seat backs are folded down. As an economy sedan, space like this makes it a great selection for anyone looking to travel often with a full load of passengers and their loot.

Alluring Simplicity.

There’s no denying that the 2016 Versa is fairly modest in terms of extra features and gadgets. But, there’s also no denying that the 2016 Versa’s simplicity is one of its most alluring traits. Sometimes it’s nice to get back to basics without feeling as though you are required to tack on mountains of impractical items you can’t really afford or that you’d never sue anyway. In truth, all that extra jazz doesn’t even really boost the resale value of the car. But, before you worry that the Versa offers nothing but a steering wheel and seats, here’s a closer look at what you’ll find on the 2016 lineup.
The Versa’s 2016 lineup shows off four trims: S, S Plus, SV, and SL. The base-level S, though fairly bland in terms of equipment, will actually suit the needs of many. It comes with basics like manual locks and windows and cloth upholstery, and also features a nice list of electronics, such as, Bluetooth phone connectivity, trip computer, four-speaker sound system with CD player, steering wheel audio controls, and auxiliary audio input jack. Step up to the S Plus trim to get all of the base S content, along with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), rear spoiler and cruise control.
Skipping up the lineup to the SV means many more items from remote keyless entry and power windows and door locks to height-adjustable driver seat, map lights and USB port. Upholstery and interior, as well as instrumentation all receive upgrades too. The SV trim stands as the only one that offers optional packages in order to tack on more stuff. Packages include a range of items like fog lights, variable intermittent wipers, voice-controlled navigation system, 5.8-inch touchscreen, and rearview camera. Go for the top-of-the-line SL trim and get the most bang with larger wheels, side mirrors with integrated turn signals, keyless ignition and entry, and all content from the optional SV packages.
